About Hayward Pool Equipment Expert Line Warranty
All warranties offered herein are to the customer only and shall not extend to any third party. JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC will not match any color with existing concrete due to the age of the concrete. JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC is not responsible for any damage to the landscape, gas lines, irrigation, concrete driveways, patios, electrical lines, asphalt, etc. while in the process of work being done. JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC will not warranty cracks. *All concrete is guaranteed to crack.*
We will do our best to protect the surrounding area where the work is taking place, however there may still be damage done that we are not responsible for. We are not responsible for damage done to anything that could be under the concrete (gas lines, plumbing lines, irrigation, etc.) as we do not know the exact depth of the area being demolished. Any work order or estimate has been priced with the standard 4” thickness of concrete. Any thicker than 4” is considered extra work and will be executed upon written work order. For demolition on fiberglass pools, we are not responsible if the shell of the pool or pool were damaged due to the pool beam being locked with the concrete. Sometimes we experience some cracks in the beam or the skimmers and that’s part of the work doing any demolition.
There is no warranty against cracking, settling, popping of rocks, spalling, scaling, or any other defects within the product itself. We do our best to provide the highest quality of workmanship, but we cannot warranty what we cannot control such as cracks, settings, flaws, or discoloration in the concrete or any third-party product. Freeze/thaw cycles can be very damaging to concrete products. Understand that flaws can and will appear due to local weather conditions. This applies over the winter because, no matter how you protect the concrete, you will experience discoloration, marks, or flaws. Eventually, once it cures and is exposed to the elements you won’t notice any of that. *All concrete is guaranteed to crack.*
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC shall not be responsible for damages resulting from natural causes, including seismic events, groundswells, indentation, ground and/or hillside motion, landslide, or any accidental causes of peril resulting from storms, floods, freeze damage, vandalism, animals, or acts of God.
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC does not do any kind of grading outside the concrete lines. We are only responsible for the grading of the foundation of the concrete within 4” of the grade and we do not haul off any excess dirt. The pool builder and or homeowner must provide access to the backyard, so we are able to move our equipment to do the grading and pour concrete in the construction area. We are not responsible for any damage that may be caused in the process of moving our equipment to the backyard. (Any additional grading will be an extra charge of $150/hr, with a minimum of 3hrs.)
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC IS NOT responsible for any cracks. If the pool builder, homeowner, or home contractor requests a control joint pattern where the control joints do not meet any of the corners of the pool deck, driveway, etc., any cracks caused WILL NOT be the responsibility of JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC.
With stamped concrete or color concrete, the finished color or texture will vary due to a variety of reasons such as weather conditions, job site conditions, and uncontrolled environments. The variations in color and texture are to be expected and are considered normal.
Sealers can protect against outside damage such as freeze/thaw cycles and ice-melting chemicals, but they make no guarantees on stamped concrete projects. Decorative and topical sealers can and will be slippery in some applications.
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC adds a heavy-duty grip to all our sealers to help prevent them from being very slick. This grip helps with most of the slipperiness; however, it is not 100% slick-proof.
During the summertime on our decorative or stamped concrete projects, you will see a lot of air bubbles after we apply the concrete sealer. This is considered normal and will go away within 6-8 weeks. The stamped concrete must be resealed every two years for maintenance.
We do not warranty the color mixed into the concrete from any discoloration or fading due to the weather or by a third party. The color from the color chart and the color we mix into the concrete may vary due to the color made by the computer vs. the actual color mixed into the concrete. *All concrete is guaranteed to crack.*
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC will not warranty any settlement cracks. It is the responsibility of the third party who backfills the pool to do proper compaction around the pool.
Deck drains, PVC pipes or black pipes connected to gutters, or any kind of drainage in the concrete itself - it is our responsibility to run all drainage pipes outside of the concrete. Anything beyond that is solely up to the pool builder or the homeowner to properly dispose of the waste. If we do any kind of drainage, there will be an extra charge.
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC adds a heavy-duty grip to all our color seals to help prevent them from being very slick. The heavy-duty grip is not 100% slick-proof; however, it does help with most of the slipperiness. Regarding furniture on the concrete deck, JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC is not responsible for moving any kind of furniture. It is the pool builder’s or homeowner’s responsibility prior to starting work on your pool. Maintenance of resealing the color every 3-4 years depends on how much traffic is used on your pool deck.
JV Concrete & Hardscape LLC will be taking pictures and or videos throughout the progress of the job being done for marketing purposes. We will NOT release any personal information about the owner’s residence such as house number, street name, street number, etc. All personal information will be kept confidential.
The homeowner and or pool builder must provide water and power for JV Concrete & Hardscape workers to be able to have the necessary requirements for the equipment we use to complete the job at the residence.
