Leaks
A proper leak detection is recommended before a liner replacement. PoolDrs is not responsible for repairing leaks. If you suspect there is a leak and it is still present after the new liner is installed, it is your responsibility to have the leak detected and repaired
Lights
PoolDrs will replace light fixtures, however we do not replace light bulbs. New light fixtures are custom-quoted and will depend on what type of lights are currently in the pool. If existing lights don’t work and you prefer to have them removed, we can eliminate them for $50 each
Floating Liners
If previous pool liners have floated, the new liner will as well. High groundwater can cause liners to float, which can result in wrinkles. Additional landscaping or the installation of a well point may be needed to help prevent a liner from floating
Wrinkles
Pool liners are a man-made product and are custom cut to each pool. It is common to have a small number of wrinkles around steps, ledges, and sharp corners
Plastic Materials in Pool
Plastic materials located in pools will weather with age. They can become brittle and break when they are removed to install a new liner. This is especially common for the beauty strips around the steps. If these break when they are removed and need to be replaced, the cost for replacement can be custom quoted, if available
